Life is Happening
Many things are happening for me write now, which explains the lack of recent posts.
I will have two paintings at Whites Gallery in Montrose in April. Thanks to my good friends and fellow associates of the Artists of the Canyon group of which I have recently joined.
I am also prepping for a show at the Brawley building the first week of April. So I am currently creating time to work in the studio around the many issues of my daily life, including cleaning out my mother in law’s condo. She has recently moved to a lovely assisted living facility in Monrovia called “The Gables”. She in herself is an accomplished artist with numerous shows and awards. She was also a member of the Mid Valley Arts League.
Also my day job took a sudden turn when two of my fellow department heads became absent. Therefore I am the only one to fill their shoes as well as my own.
So please bear with me while I navigate through these over-abundant days. I promise more timely posts in the near future.
My wife and I have just booked a sojourn to New Orleans and Natchez, Mississippi. The south has always been one of her favorite places to visit. I am anticipating I will return with much inspiration from this trip.
Until later
